The Association for Corporate Health Risk Management (ACHRM) is an unique employer community where employers can collaborate with their peers, learn new methods and techniques to reduce their company's health care costs, implement or improve quality healthcare programs, and improve employee well-being and productivity.

ACHRM offers education opportunities for employers and seeks to develop solutions for employer challenges across NINE Healthcare Cost Containment Strategies (HCCs) and is the only national Association directly supporting employers by offering education, solution development, assessments and implementation services encompassing our NINE HCCs.

MISSION:

To provide employers leading-edge healthcare cost containment and health risk management strategies in a collaborative Think- Tank environment offering workshops, roundtables, webinars, pilots, case studies, along with strategic initiative teams to advance the development and implementation of innovative methodologies.  Offer strategic assessment, solutions, and implementation services for our employers seeking assistance in more effectively evaluating their specific challenges and struggling to implement solutions.

ACHRM has adapted, pivoted, and executed creating unique education and engagement opportunities amidst the many challenges in today’s crisis and economy.

• In 2020, ACHRM has focused efforts on Schools (Colleges and Universities) and Municipalities (Towns, Cities, etc.).
• Educational events and projects are offered throughout the year including webinars, virtual CEO-CFO-CHRO Roundtables, white paper projects, and more! 
• In 2021, ACHRM is planning 50 virtual events, averaging 30 attendees per event and more than 30% of those attendees as new professionals to our ACHRM community!

EMPLOYER HEALTHCARE COST CONTAINMENT STRATEGIC ASSESSMENT

ACHRM is the only Association assisting employers with their healthcare cost containment strategies and implementation support for new cost savings strategies. 

ACHRM’s strategic assessment tool assists employers who are struggling to manage healthcare costs and actively searching for innovative solutions. The tool assesses your healthcare cost containment and health risk management strategies and leverages ACHRM’s NINE Healthcare Cost Containment Strategies (HCCs) generated within ACHRM’s community. Our strategic assessment was generated as a result of employers who approached ACHRM to create pathways to save dollars and cut healthcare costs rather than relying on decisions to cut salaries, personnel, increase taxes, etc.  

Employers will find value through the following pathways:
1.    Questionnaire + Consultation + Executive Summary - Maintain Status Quo:  Assess current strategies, receive recommendations, but you’re not ready to pursue current recommendations.
2.    Questionnaire + Consultation + Executive Summary Do-It-Yourself (DIY) basis:  Assess your current strategies and offer recommendations to engage Menu of Solutions on a DIY basis
3.    Questionnaire + Consultation + Executive Summary + Implementation Support:   Implement solutions engaging ACHRM’s Implementation team.  ACHRM will provide a turn-key solution consisting of a best-in-class integrated team of solution providers to enable ACHRMs NINE Healthcare Cost Containment Strategies.

Market Outreach / Chapters:

ACHRM is growing rapidly across the US.  However, to most efficiently create a venue for collaboration, ACHRM has organized regional Chapters, which enable employers an opportunity to meet with their peers and collaborate on local health risk management issues.  Since launching its first Chapter in June 2012, ACHRM has several hundred professionals in its community and offered over 40 events during 2018 across a wide range of regional markets, including Philadelphia, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Washington, D.C., Tampa, Pittsburgh, Hartford, Atlanta, Denver, among many others.
